Angie Hughes, CPA

Angie Hughes joined PFM Asset Management LLC with 25 years of experience. As a senior managing consultant located in Kearney, Angie’s role is focused on fostering and expanding our relationships with school districts and other political subdivisions across Missouri. She also assists municipal governments, school districts, colleges and universities, and other political subdivisions with their cash flow analysis and overall investment needs including investment advisory and consulting services, developing investment policies, and monitoring guidelines and strategy implementation.

Prior to joining the firm, Angie was the Executive Director of Business Services at Platte County R-3 School District for over 10 years. While there, she oversaw a $70M+ budget and invested local tax revenues and bond proceeds. In that time, she built a strong knowledge of school investment options. Prior to her start in school finance, Angie worked in public accounting at Deloitte for 15 years.

Angie holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northwest Missouri State University and is a CPA. She is a General Securities Registered Representative holding FINRA Series 6 and 63 designations.
